This was yummy. I didn't smell the cedar though...the description reads "Exhibits deep purple-red color, with aromas of cedar and toasty oak. Polished flavors of cassis, chocolate, and red fruits, with hints of black raspberry, dark cherry, and exotic spices on the long finish." Tried this wine with Le Petit Basque cheese and crackers.
had an excllent bottle of a Thomas Fogarty red blend (from up in Monterey/Carmel area) area over the weekend. Very tasty and reasonable. Also, had my first taste of a Merus Cab this weekend. Outstanding!
